0 A.D. is a free, open-source real-time strategy (RTS) game set in ancient history, developed by Wildfire Games, a global group of volunteer developers. Players can command 15+ historical factions across single-player and multiplayer modes. The game is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS under GPL v2 (code) and CC-BY-SA 3.0 (artwork) licenses.
Players download the game for free, choose from historical factions, and compete in real-time strategy battles either solo or online through a multiplayer lobby
