About

ARC Prize Foundation is a nonprofit that builds scientifically grounded benchmarks to measure progress toward artificial general intelligence (AGI). Their flagship ARC-AGI benchmark series is designed to be easy for humans but hard for AI, exposing gaps in current AI capabilities. They also run prize competitions in partnership with Kaggle to incentivize open-source breakthroughs in AGI research.

Problem

There is no reliable, open benchmark that accurately measures whether AI systems are approaching human-level general intelligence.

For

AI researchers, academic labs, and top AI companies working toward AGI

How it works

ARC Prize creates and maintains the ARC-AGI benchmark series and runs open prize competitions on Kaggle, rewarding researchers who achieve novel, open-source progress on the benchmark.
