BookStack is a free, open-source, self-hosted platform for organizing and storing documentation and knowledge. It uses a hierarchical structure of Books, Chapters, and Pages, and features a WYSIWYG editor, Markdown support, full-text search, and role-based permissions. Built on PHP/Laravel with MySQL, it is designed to be lightweight and easy to deploy.
