About

Boom Supersonic is developing Overture, a supersonic commercial airliner designed to fly passengers to global destinations twice as fast as conventional jets, with orders from United Airlines, American Airlines, and Japan Airlines. The company has also built the XB-1 supersonic demonstrator and the Symphony turbofan engine purpose-built for supersonic flight. Additionally, Boom is leveraging its supersonic engine technology to power AI data center infrastructure through its Superpower natural gas turbine product.

Problem

Commercial air travel is slow, with intercontinental flights taking many hours due to subsonic speed limits of conventional airliners.

For

commercial airlines and passengers seeking faster transatlantic and transpacific travel

How it works
