CipherChronicle is a French-language browser-based puzzle platform where users decode encrypted grids using historical ciphers like César, Vigenère, and Atbash. It operates entirely client-side, meaning solutions are never sent to a server—only a SHA-256 hash is stored. Users can also create and share their own encrypted puzzles across 11 themed universes covering 164 cipher methods.
Users solve cipher-based puzzles step by step in their browser, with on-demand hints and historical context provided for each encryption method.
