FreeIPA is an open-source integrated identity management solution for Linux environments, combining directory services, Kerberos authentication, DNS, certificate management, and more. It allows administrators to centrally manage users, hosts, and policies via CLI, Web UI, or API. It supports Single Sign-On, Active Directory trust, and multi-master replication for scalability.
FreeIPA combines 389 Directory Server, MIT Kerberos, DNS, Dogtag certificate system, and SSSD into a unified platform manageable via CLI, Web UI, or API.
