Hanko
Modern Authentication. On Your Terms.

Hanko is an open-source authentication platform that enables developers to integrate passkeys, 2FA, SSO, and other auth methods into their applications. It offers flexible deployment options including cloud, private cloud, and self-hosted, with no vendor lock-in. Built by a Germany-based team, it emphasizes privacy-first defaults and provides both ready-made UI components and a low-level Flow API for custom frontends.
Hanko provides customizable Web Components (Hanko Elements) and a Flow API that handle authentication flows, which can be deployed on Hanko Cloud, a private cloud, or self-hosted infrastructure.
