Helium is a decentralized wireless network where individuals and businesses host small devices called Hotspots to provide cellular and IoT coverage, earning HNT cryptocurrency for every connection made. It aims to replace traditional cell tower infrastructure with a people-owned, community-powered network. Helium also offers a consumer mobile service called Helium Mobile, built on top of this decentralized infrastructure.
