/ About /

NetBird is an open-source Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) platform built on WireGuard that replaces traditional VPNs for IT and engineering teams. It enables identity-based, encrypted connectivity between remote users, hybrid cloud environments, and edge devices with minimal configuration. The platform supports self-hosting under a BSD-3 license or can be used via NetBird Cloud.

/ How it works /

NetBird creates an encrypted WireGuard-based overlay network with identity-based access policies, connecting users and devices directly without requiring firewall or gateway configuration.
