About

Prometheus Fuels produces carbon-neutral liquid fuels such as kerosene, diesel, and methanol by capturing CO2 directly from the air and converting it via a fully electrochemical process. The technology can leverage low-cost off-grid solar to make zero-net-carbon fuels cost-competitive with fossil fuels. Applications span aviation, shipping, data center energy storage, and defense fuel supply.

Problem

Fossil fuels power most of the economy but emit carbon, while clean energy alternatives are often too expensive or infrastructure-dependent to be practical.

For

Aviation, shipping, defense, and data center operators seeking carbon-neutral fuel alternatives

How it works

CO2 is captured directly from the air and converted into liquid hydrocarbon fuels through a 100% electrochemical process powered by renewable electricity.
