Rondo Energy
Lowest-cost industrial heat and power from intermittent wind and solar.

Rondo Energy makes the Rondo Heat Battery, a thermal energy storage system that converts intermittent renewable electricity into continuous industrial heat and power. The system heats refractory brick to over 1000°C, storing energy for hours or days and discharging it as superheated air, steam, or electric power at 98% efficiency. It targets industrial customers seeking to decarbonize operations while reducing energy costs.
The Rondo Heat Battery charges using electricity from wind, solar, or the grid, heats refractory brick to 1100–1500°C, and discharges stored heat as process heat, steam, or power 24 hours a day at over 98% efficiency.
