Twine is a free, open-source tool for creating interactive, nonlinear stories without requiring programming knowledge. It is developed and maintained by Chris Klimas and supported by the Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation. Users can create branching narratives and publish them as standalone HTML files.
Users build interactive stories using a visual node-based editor that compiles to standalone HTML files playable in any browser.
