After Effects MCP
Control Adobe After Effects through AI clients via MCP bridge

After Effects MCP is an open-source automation bridge that connects AI clients like VS Code, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code to Adobe After Effects via the Model Context Protocol. It enables scripted control over compositions, layers, effects, keyframes, presets, markers, and audio through a live bridge panel running inside After Effects. The tool is designed for practical animation and motion-design automation workflows.
An MCP server communicates with a JSX bridge panel running inside After Effects by exchanging JSON command and result files, allowing AI clients to call tools that manipulate the AE project in real time.
