Edit Mind
Your footage, finally searchable.

Edit Mind is a local-first AI video knowledge base that analyzes every frame, transcribes audio, and makes footage searchable using natural language — all processed on-device with no cloud uploads. It offers a desktop app for Mac and Windows that integrates directly with NLEs like Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, allowing editors to find and send clips to their timeline in one click. A self-hosted open-source option is also available for those who prefer a Docker-based workflow.
Edit Mind indexes footage locally by transcribing audio, analyzing frames with object and scene detection, and storing multi-modal vectors in an on-device database so users can search footage with natural language and send results directly to their NLE.
